“Finally, procurement and scouting is getting the attention it deserves and needs!”. When COVID-19 hit, supply chains broke. Supply shortages, production stops, and short time work were the consequences. ‘How could this happen’ was a commonly asked question. Thus scoutbee’s Series B funding round happened at the right time. An AI-driven research platform comparing suppliers and matching them with companies in need of new suppliers – within a matter of hours.
Since the investment, Openers handles all media relations and PR for scoutbee in DACH. Strongly positioning the company, the technology, its right-to-play (today’s manual scouting is causing the aforementioned weak supply chains) and scoutbee’s services (in April, scoutbee assisted NGOs, public institutions, and hospitals in scouting medical equipment) on the German market. Since then WirtschaftsWoche, Handelsblatt, Business Insider, t3n, targeted vertical media and more have covered scoutbee and its mission.
